A little bit about the designer

I am Derek Vigil and I love clean design.

DESIGN HISTORY
I am a web designer residing in Denver, Colorado. I graduated from The Art Institute of Colorado with a B.A. in Interactive Media and Web Design and was awarded Par Excellence. I started an internship with Internet Media Consultants in 2006 and gained my first experience as a professional web designer there until May 2008. I am currently employed full-time as the Front-end Web Designer & Developer, designing and working on projects of all types ranging from small to corporate in web, print, and video.

In 2006, I started freelancing and XENO10 was born. In brief, XENO10 is a shortened version of the word xenoglossy. You can read more about the details in the case study.

ABOUT ME
I am a native Coloradoan that enjoys the mountains but wishes for the beach. I find inspiration in the simple things that are passed by. I insist on being myself and have never been one to follow convention. I'm a very strong willed person who doesn't give up, sets high standards, and believes in accomplishing the many goals I have set in my life.
